  • Kaes Awarded Twice

    Anton Kaes received the 2010 GSA/DAAD book prize for the best book on German literature in 2009.

    He was also given the 2010 Limine Prize from the Silent Film Festival Udine, Italy, for the best book in film scholarship published in 2009.

    Kurt Beals was the translator of Anja Utler’s poetry book “engulf – enkindle” (Burning Deck 2010). It will appear December 15, 2010 (website). An excerpt also appeared in the magazine Two Lines.
