Open Positions:

Lecturer

The Department of German will have temporary openings for part-time lecturers in German language, literature, and linguistics effective Fall 2007.   These positions may be renewed on a semester or annual basis.   Percentage of time and salary will vary, based upon budgetary resources and instructional needs.   Salary commensurate with education and experience.   Minimum salary rate is $39,144 (new M.A.).   Minimum qualifications:   M.A., native or near-native fluency in German, evidence of teaching excellence in German at the college level.   Please send CV, names and addresses of two references, a statement of teaching philosophy, and evidence of teaching excellence to:   Cathie Jones,
