German Film Club

The German Film Club organizes public screenings of German films for students taking courses in the German department and anyone from the campus community interested in German cinema. This semester, our theme is “Realpolitik/Reel Politics."

The schedule is below:

October 8th – Kuhle Wampe or Who Owns the World? (1932)

October 22nd – Germany in Autumn (1978)

November 5th – Head-On (2005)

November 19th – The White Ribbon (2009)

The theme of our film series changes every semester. Past series have included "Eine Symphonie des Horrors" (Fall semester, 2014), "Crime Scene: Deutschland" (Spring semester, 2014) and "American Friends" (Fall semester, 2013).
